BAKU: The Western Azerbaijan Community strongly condemns and rejects the statement made by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan at the Forum of Ancient Civilizations. At this event, Minister Mirzoyan, claiming that the “Armenian cultural heritage” in Azerbaijan is allegedly under threat, made a provocative statement, the community said in a statement, Trend reports.
“This completely defamatory statement simultaneously highlights the ongoing territorial claims of Armenia against Azerbaijan. The use of the term ‘Nagorno-Karabakh’ by the Armenian Foreign Minister indicates that his country only nominally recognizes Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity.
