Baku: Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of Ukraine, extended his gratitude to Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev for the support provided to Ukraine, particularly in the energy sector. During a joint press statement, Zelenskyy highlighted the significance of the 11 aid packages received from Azerbaijan, underscoring their importance during a challenging period for Ukraine.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Zelenskyy also commended Azerbaijan for its efforts in aiding Ukrainian children. He noted that over five hundred children, affected by the conflict and originating from frontline regions, have received support in Azerbaijan. Zelenskyy expressed heartfelt thanks for the assistance provided to these young individuals who have endured hardships due to the ongoing war.
