Baku: Another group of children from Ukraine has arrived in Azerbaijan, as announced by Ukraine’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Yuriy Husyev, on his Facebook page. The group was welcomed by the head of the Working Group for the Azerbaijani-Ukrainian Interparliamentary Relations, MP Alibala Maharramzade, along with embassy staff.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, during their stay, the children will undergo rehabilitation at a sanatorium in Guba and will have the opportunity to learn about Azerbaijani culture. Their visit includes activities such as visiting the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Baku and touring the capital city.
The embassy highlighted that this is the ninth group of children to be received from Ukraine for rest and rehabilitation since the onset of the war. Ambassador Husyev expressed his gratitude towards Azerbaijan’s leadership, its citizens, and the charitable individuals who organized the trip.
He emphasized that this support reflects the strong friendship between Ukraine and Azerbaijan and contributes significantly to reinforcing their strategic partnership.
