Turkmenistan’s commodity exchange discloses latest raw material transactions


ASHGABAT: Transactions totaling approximately $1.26 million were concluded at Turkmenistan’s State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange on August 26 and 28, Trend reports.

On August 26, transactions amounted to $210,394. Entrepreneurs from Kyrgyzstan purchased light industry products and ready-to-wear items from Turkmen companies, totaling $34,158. Additionally, representatives from Trkiye acquired textile waste and regenerated fiber worth $176,235 from Turkmen producers.

On August 28, transactions reached $1.05 million. Afghanistan bought liquefied natural gas from Turkmenistan’s Trkmengaz, amounting to $935,000. The domestic market saw Turkmenistan’s Trkmennebit selling polypropylene worth $114,168.

No transactions were recorded on August 27.

The State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan, established on July 29, 1994, remains a key body for regulating export-import operations of goods.
