Baku: A preliminary court hearing has been held in the criminal case initiated by the State Security Service (SSS) of Azerbaijan against Miradalat Talishkhanov, who is accused of making public calls against the state, APA reports. The hearing took place at the Baku Court on Grave Crimes under the chairmanship of Judge Elmin Rustamov. During the session, the personal details of the defendant were clarified.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the court ruled to proceed with the trial, which has been scheduled for July 30. Talishkhanov was detained by the State Security Service and is charged under Articles 32.4 and 281.2 of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan, which pertain to incitement to commit public calls against the state, committed repeatedly or by a group of individuals. It is known that he previously worked in law enforcement.
