Baku: Three earthquakes with a magnitude of 5 occurred in Azerbaijan in 2024. This information was shared by Gurban Yetirmishli, the Director General of the Republican Seismic Survey Center (RSSC) under the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS).
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Yetirmishli noted that the deepest earthquakes in the region occur in the Caspian Sea, with depths reaching between 60 to 70 kilometers.
