Members of the Bureau of the Senate of the Parliament approved the agenda of the meeting of the Chamber, scheduled for October 13, 2022.
At the meeting of the Chamber, which will be held on Thursday, the bill ” On Ratification of the Protocol on Amendments to the Treaty on Combating the Legalization (Laundering) of Proceeds from Crime and the Financing of Terrorism when Moving Cash and (or) Monetary Instruments through the Customs border of the Customs Union of December 19, 2011 ” .
The document is aimed at improving the mechanism of interaction between the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union in combating the legalization of criminal proceeds and the financing of terrorism .
The deputies will also consider the draft law “On ratification of the Agreement on the exchange of information in the field of combating the legalization (laundering) of proceeds from crime and the financing of terrorism when moving cash and (or) monetary instruments across the customs border of the Eurasian Economic Union”.
The purpose of the development of the agreement is the exchange of information on the movement of cash by individuals outside the EAEU.
During the meeting , members of the Bureau also distributed among the standing committees of the Senate the bills received from the Mazhilis.
