On October 14-15, 2024, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev, made a working visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Alizade, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Islamic Republic of Iran, said, APA reports.
“The Deputy Prime Minister was received by the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and successful and fruitful meetings with the Iranian Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Road and Urban Development, Energy, Oil, Economy, and Finance took place.
Current situation and development prospects of the Azerbaijan-Iran relations were discussed, as well as joint projects, and regional and bilateral issues on the agenda were revised. The further strengthening of Azerbaijan-Iran relations and the increase of cooperation were emphasized at the receptions and meetings, and it was decided to hold the next meeting of the intergovernmental joint commission operating between the two countries in Tehran in the coming months,” the diplomat said.
