Baku: The Supervisory Board of the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) convened for a meeting led by Prime Minister Ali Asadov on December 19. The agenda focused on forecast indicators of SOFAZ’s draft budget for 2026, touching upon the Fund’s revenues, primary directions for fund utilization, investment policy, currency composition, and the profitability of the investment portfolio.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting included a report from Israfil Mammadov, the Executive Director of SOFAZ. The discussions concluded with an agreement to present the 2026 budget draft for the State Oil Fund to the Azerbaijani President.
