Baku: SOCAR has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with UCC Holding to supply fuel to Damascus Airport. This collaboration marks a significant step in establishing a joint venture focused on aviation fuel supply and infrastructure development at the airport.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the agreement outlines SOCAR’s commitment to providing technical support for fuel supply operations and ensuring a consistent supply of aviation fuel. This move is part of a broader strategy to enhance long-term cooperation in Syria and expand into international energy markets.
This development follows the signing of multiple Memoranda of Understanding on September 6, where SOCAR and UCC Holding agreed to collaborate on projects within Syria and explore opportunities in the global energy sector.
