Awaza:Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan should collaborate on implementing the ‘6 economies – 1 product’ formula by developing joint production chains, stated Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during the 8th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Azerbaijan and Central Asia.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, Mirziyoyev emphasized that simple trade in goods among the region’s countries is insufficient. He advocated for the creation of common final products through production chains that involve multiple states to strengthen economic ties more effectively than ordinary commodity exchanges.
Mirziyoyev proposed organizing a ‘Central Asia-Azerbaijan’ business forum in 2027 to further enhance cooperation in this area. He also highlighted the importance of improving the regulatory and legal frameworks that govern the activities of the Consultative Meetings of the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan.
Furthermore, the Uzbek President underscored the need to focus on joint industrial and technological chains, common digital services, and investment mechanisms to facilitate the swift implementation of significant projects in the new phase of economic cooperation.
