Russian peacekeepers’ helicopter evacuates gravely ill child from Khankendi – Armenian TV

Russian peacekeepers used a helicopter to evacuate a one-year-old child in extremely critical condition from Khankendi to Yerevan, Armenian TV channels reported. They also carried by helicopter from Armenia to Karabakh a batch of necessary medicines for both themselves and Armenian residents, the same sources said. If the information is true, it seems that the helicopter takeoff has been coordinated with the Azerbaijani side. There was already a case of a helicopter flying from Karabakh last winter, when a supposedly “seriously ill” 88-year-old Grigori Gabrielyants, the last USSR Minister of Geology, was “evacuated” to Yerevan, and he looked quite vigorous for his age, judging by footage of his arrival at Khojaly airport which appeared later.
