Russian, Armenian Foreign Ministers to Discuss EAEU Cooperation and Bilateral Relations

Moscow: Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will hold talks with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan, as reported by APA citing TASS. The discussions will focus on bilateral issues and cooperation within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and other regional associations.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Russian Foreign Ministry has stated that the parties “will hold an in-depth exchange of views on the entire spectrum of Russian-Armenian relations, cooperation within the EAEU and other integration associations in the Eurasian space, as well as current issues on the global agenda.” The meeting will also address the situation in the South Caucasus, with a focus on achieving normalization between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Moscow anticipates that the upcoming meeting “will be held in a constructive manner, will help advance practical issues of cooperation, and will contribute to strengthening security and stability in the South Caucasus.”
