Doha: Qatar’s Al Jazeera TV channel has prepared a program about Azerbaijani mugham, APA reports. The program features an interview with People’s Artist of Azerbaijan Alim Gasimov and Honored Artist Fargana Gasimova, presented by the channel’s employee Nick Clark.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Nick Clark noted that Alim Gasimov is an artist whose voice captivates viewers worldwide, bringing ancient stories to life in the modern world. In the half-hour program, Alim Gasimov and Fargana Gasimova also shared their insights and perspectives on the art of mugham, highlighting its significance and enduring appeal.
