Baku: Azerbaijan’s hosting of the 20th Session of the Conference of the Parliamentary Union of OIC Member States was instrumental in the event’s success, stated Mouhamed Khouraichi Niass, Secretary General of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC). The conference, held in Baku, was marked by Azerbaijan’s efficient organization and support, according to Niass.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Niass emphasized that Azerbaijan’s experience in hosting international events contributed significantly to the success of the conference. He acknowledged the efforts of Azerbaijan and the parliaments of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states in creating favorable conditions for the meetings and ensuring their successful conduct.
The Secretary General expressed gratitude for the attention and care provided by Azerbaijan, which he noted was crucial in facilitating the activities of the conference. He also extended his thanks to President Ilham Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan for their hospitality and warm reception of conference participants.
