Baku: On June 25, the second ‘Turkmen Heritage: Solidarity of Civil Societies’ Forum commenced at the International Mugham Center in Baku. The event was organized by the ‘Bridge’ Center for Turkmen Heritage Research under the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences in partnership with the Agency on State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the forum brought together about 30 representatives of civil society organizations from Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Trkiye. The participants gathered to discuss critical issues related to the preservation of Turkmen heritage and the promotion of shared cultural values.
Following the official opening ceremony, the forum will feature a panel discussion focused on several key topics. These include the preservation of Turkmen heritage, strengthening cooperation among civil society institutions, and exploring future directions for joint activities. The event aims to foster dialogue and collaboration among the participating organizations.
