Baku: President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has sent a letter to President Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of the signing of the Joint Declaration that aims to establish lasting peace between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the letter from President Rahmon expressed sincere congratulations to President Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan. The letter highlighted the significance of the Joint Declaration with Armenia as a historic development, emphasizing the importance of peaceful dialogue as the sole method to resolve crises and conflicts.
The letter further conveyed confidence that the agreements reached through the Joint Declaration would create a framework for fostering good-neighborly relations. President Rahmon noted that this development would contribute to strengthening stability and security in the Caucasus region and enhancing constructive interregional cooperation.
President Rahmon concluded his letter by wishing President Aliyev robust health and success in his leadership endeavors for the prosperity of the Azerbaijani people.
