President Ilham Aliyev Congratulates Montenegro on National Holiday


Baku: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatovic, Trend reports. In the letter, President Aliyev extended his sincere congratulations on behalf of himself and the people of Azerbaijan to President Milatovic and the entire nation of Montenegro, on the occasion of their national holiday.



According to Trend News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized the importance Azerbaijan places on the development of relations with Montenegro. He expressed satisfaction with the current interstate ties and cooperation, noting that they are progressing in a constructive spirit. Aliyev recalled President Milatovic’s visit to Azerbaijan last November for the COP29 conference as a significant event that advanced relations between the two countries.



President Aliyev highlighted the excellent opportunities available to expand mutually beneficial cooperation across various fields, particularly in the areas of economy, tourism, and investment. He expressed confidence that, in line with the will of both nations, the friendly relations and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Montenegro will continue to develop dynamically and deepen further.



The letter concluded with President Aliyev wishing President Milatovic robust health and success in his endeavors, and the people of Montenegro lasting peace and prosperity.
