President Ilham Aliyev Celebrates 30 Years of Diplomatic Relations with Guyana

Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, Mohammed Irfaan Ali, APA reports. In his letter, President Aliyev extended sincere congratulations to President Ali and the people of Guyana on the occasion of their national holiday, Republic Day.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev’s message highlighted the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Guyana. Over the years, the two nations have developed friendly ties that have opened up opportunities for cooperation. President Aliyev expressed optimism that these opportunities can be effectively utilized to further expand bilateral and multilateral relations, fostering cooperation based on mutual interests for the benefit of both peoples.

In his concluding remarks, President Aliyev conveyed his best regards to President Ali and wished for everlasting peace and prosperity for the people of Guyana.
