Baku:President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan met with Ramzan Kadyrov, Head of the Chechen Republic of Russia, on October 10.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev expressed his pleasure at welcoming Kadyrov to Azerbaijan, emphasizing the strong historical ties and brotherly relations between the Azerbaijani and Chechen peoples. He mentioned his belief that Kadyrov’s visit, though brief, would be productive.
President Aliyev congratulated Kadyrov on the rapid development of the Chechen Republic, expressing joy at its achievements and wishing for further success in its development and prosperity. Aliyev reiterated Azerbaijan’s warm welcome and continued solidarity with Kadyrov and the Chechen Republic.
