Accra:In a joint press statement, President Ilham Aliyev highlighted a shared concern about landmines with President Thongloun Sisoulith of Laos.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, President Aliyev noted that Laos continues to face challenges due to landmines, a problem also affecting Azerbaijan, where over one million mines have been reported to be planted by Armenians.
He emphasized the potential benefits of exchanging experiences in mine clearance and the importance of implementing new technologies to address these issues.
