Venice:The Azerbaijan Naval Forces delegation took part in the 15th Trans-Regional Seapower Symposium (T-RSS), organized by the Italian Navy. This international gathering brought together naval commanders and delegations from various countries, alongside representatives from international organizations, academia, and the defense industry.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the symposium discussions addressed critical topics such as global and regional maritime security, the protection of international sea lanes, and collaborative approaches to contemporary challenges. The event also emphasized the importance of developing cooperation among naval forces globally.
On the sidelines of the symposium, Rear Admiral Shahin Mammadov, Commander of the Azerbaijan Naval Forces, led a series of bilateral meetings. These discussions aimed at expanding cooperation, exchanging experiences, and strengthening maritime security ties with other naval forces.
Participation in the symposium and these bilateral engagements has fortified the Azerbaijan Naval Forces’ international relationships, enhanced cooperation with partner countries, and provided insights from advanced maritime practices.
