Baku:President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has extended a congratulatory message to President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan in celebration of Turkey’s Republic Day on October 29.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, President Aliyev expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes on behalf of himself and the people of Azerbaijan. He highlighted the strong friendship and brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Turkey, noting that these ties have been reinforced through history and the 2021 Shusha Declaration, which elevated the relationship to an alliance.
In his message, President Aliyev wished President Erdogan good health, happiness, and success in his state responsibilities, and he expressed hopes for lasting peace and prosperity for the Republic of Turkey and its people.
