Baku:Azerbaijan is set to introduce a limit on the number of amended tax declarations taxpayers can submit, as reported by APA.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, the proposed amendment to the Tax Code outlines that taxpayers will be allowed to submit amended tax declarations only three times during a reporting period. Large businesses will have a slightly higher limit, with a total of five permitted amendments.
Once these limits are reached, further amendments to the tax declarations for the relevant reporting period will only be possible after the tax authority has conducted a desk tax audit of the declaration in question.
