Baku: Over 25,000 people from numerous countries have registered to attend the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13), according to an official statement. Rashad Gasimov, the Head of the Baku City Main Department of Architecture and Urban Planning under the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, highlighted Azerbaijan’s growing international recognition for its construction work during the opening ceremony of the III Forum titled ‘Public processes in the media space.’
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Gasimov emphasized that Azerbaijan’s role as the host of WUF13 underscores its prominence in the field of urban development. He noted that the registration of nearly 25,000 international representatives for the event serves as further evidence of the country’s expanding influence. He also stressed the importance of effectively communicating this development to the public, indicating that the media holds a significant responsibility in this process.
