Israeli Ambassador Highlights Expanding Relations with Azerbaijan


Karabakh: Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Ronen Kraus, emphasized the growing diplomatic and cooperative ties between Israel and Azerbaijan during his visit to Karabakh. This visit marks his third to the region, although it is his first time in Khankendi.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Kraus highlighted potential collaborations between Israeli medical institutions and the Faculty of Medicine at Karabakh University. He expressed optimism about these prospects, hoping to see tangible results soon.



The ambassador reiterated the ongoing development of relations between the two nations, noting strong connections at both the leadership and community levels. He mentioned the recent visit by Israel’s Minister of Foreign Affairs to Azerbaijan, which was deemed successful, with both parties actively pursuing new initiatives.



Kraus pointed out ongoing cooperation in various sectors, including economic projects, agriculture, water technologies, cyberspace, and tourism. He also noted that over 70,000 Israeli tourists visited Azerbaijan last year, with expectations for this number to rise.
