New Georgian Edition of Azerbaijani Novel “Manifest of a Young Man” Unveiled in Tbilisi


Tbilisi: A new Georgian-language edition of “Manifest of a Young Man,” a novel by the renowned Azerbaijani writer, scholar, and educator Mir Jalal Pashayev, has been presented in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. The event was covered by APA’s Tbilisi correspondent.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the book was published by order of the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan and was unveiled during the XXVII International Book Festival. The translation into Georgian was carried out by Imir Mammadli, a laureate of the State Prize of Georgia and a well-established translator. Mammadli commented that the publication in Georgian not only fosters cultural relations between the Azerbaijani and Georgian peoples but also symbolizes the enduring friendship between the two nations.



During the presentation, Orkhan Fikratoglu, an advisor to the Minister of Culture, emphasized Mir Jalal’s significance in Azerbaijani literature, noting that his works highlight the essence of Azerbaijani identity and national thought.



The ceremony was attended by high-profile guests, including Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Georgia, Faig Guliyev, along with various Georgian and Azerbaijani public figures, representatives from the literary and cultural sectors, and students.
