Siena:More than 300,000 hectares of land have been cleared of mines and explosive ordnance to facilitate the safe implementation of the Great Return initiative, President Ilham Aliyev announced. This information was shared during his address at the 6th Azerbaijan International “Restoration, Reconstruction and Development of Karabakh” – “Rebuild Garabagh” exhibition.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, President Aliyev highlighted that over 40,000 people have returned to 47 settlements in the region.
The President further noted that approximately 100,000 people are currently living, studying, and working in the areas that were liberated from occupation.
