Baku: The monetary base in Azerbaijan has reached 22 billion 470.2 million manats as of January 1, 2026.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this figure marks an increase of 1.5% or 341.8 million manats over the past month. On an annual scale, the monetary base grew by 7.4% or 1 billion 553.7 million manats.
The monetary base comprises cash in circulation and bank reserves, which include free bank reserves and required reserves of commercial banks.
