Baku: Azerbaijan’s monetary base reached AZN 21.4713 billion as of July 1, 2025.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this represents an increase of 4.1% or AZN 841.6 million compared to the previous month.
The data reveals that the monetary base has grown by 2.7% since the beginning of the year and by 5.2% over the past year. The monetary base is composed of cash in circulation and bank reserves, which include both free and mandatory reserves of commercial banks.
