An active crown fire edge was observed in the direction from the Kashtak forestry towards the city of Semey from aerovisual survey. The spread of fire in settlements was prevented, the information says. Helicopters carry out an aerovisual survey of the fire and dump water on the outbreaks. 546 water discharges with a volume of more than 1,500 tons were carried out in a day. More than 1,300 water discharges with a volume of about 4,000 tons have been carried out since the fire started.
