Baku: Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera, President of the Republic of Malawi, has sent a congratulatory letter to President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan on the occasion of May 28 – Independence Day.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the letter addressed to President Aliyev conveys warm congratulations on behalf of the people and the Government of the Republic of Malawi, as well as President Chakwera’s personal regards.
The letter highlights President Chakwera’s hope for strengthened friendship and cooperation between Malawi and Azerbaijan, emphasizing mutual interests. President Chakwera also extended his best wishes for President Aliyev’s health and the prosperity of the Azerbaijani people.
