Baku: The candidacies of the Kingdom of Bahrain and Iran for the presidency of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly have been approved, as announced by Rizvan Nabiyev, the head of Azerbaijan’s delegation to the Asian Parliamentary Assembly. This announcement was made at the 15th plenary session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, which was held in Baku under Azerbaijan’s chairmanship.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Bahrain is set to take over the chairmanship of the organization starting from 2026.
