The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has published an insurance review on the results of January-July 2023. The document says that in 7 months the local insurance companies collected AZN 761.8 million of insurance premiums and performed AZN 283 million of insurance payments. This is up by 31.2% and 17.4% from the same period of thje last year, respectively. In the reviewed period, out of every AZN 100 of insurance premiums collected on the insurance market, 37.1 manats were paid. In the same period of the last year, this figure stood at 41.5 manats
