Istanbul: Vugar Mustafayev, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defense Industry, met with Haluk G¶rgn, Head of Trkiye’s Defense Industries Secretariat, during the SAHA 2026 International Defense and Aerospace Exhibition in Istanbul, Trkiye. This meeting highlighted the ongoing collaboration between the two nations in the defense sector.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, G¶rgn emphasized the unique cooperation model that Trkiye and Azerbaijan have developed under the “One nation, two states” concept. He stated that the fraternal ties between the two countries are set to strengthen with the launch of new joint projects in the near future. G¶rgn also pointed out that the ongoing collaboration with Azerbaijan is aimed at ensuring regional peace, shared prosperity, and security.
