Georgian President Discusses Strategic Partnership and Regional Projects in Baku


Baku: Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili announced several issues he discussed during his visit to Baku. “Today, during my visit to Baku, I held a productive meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ali Asadov,” Kavelashvili shared on the X platform, as reported by APA’s correspondent in Tbilisi.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the discussions focused on the strategic partnership between Georgia and Azerbaijan, highlighting successful cooperation across multiple sectors, including multilateral formats. Both leaders emphasized the importance of enhancing trade and economic relations, as well as advancing joint regional projects.



President Kavelashvili also stressed the significance of peace and stability in the region. He expressed gratitude towards Azerbaijan for its consistent support of Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity during the meeting.
