European Council President has arrived in Kyrgyzstan

President of the European Council Charles Michel has arrived in Kyrgyzstan on June 2, the Cabinet’s press service reported. The European Council President will attend the Second EU-Central Asia Summit hosted by President Sadyr Japarov’s Administration. The EU-Central Asia Summit will gather the leaders of th Central Asian countries and the European Union for discussion of prospects of regional cooperation between Central Asia and the European Union, regional and international developments. The event will be attended by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokaev, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Deputy Chairman of Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Nurmuhammet Amannepesov. On June 3, European Council President Charles Michel will make official visit to Kyrgyzstan, when bilateral talks with President Sadyr Japarov will be held to discuss current bilateral cooperation and its prospects.
