Azerbaijan: Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rahman Hummatov met with Rebecca Neff, Senior Advisor of the Bureau of Economic, Energy and Business Affairs of the U.S. Department of State. During the meeting, the sides noted that relations between Azerbaijan and the United States have been elevated to the level of strategic partnership and emphasized the importance of making more effective use of existing cooperation potential.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, they also exchanged views on international transport corridors passing through Azerbaijan’s territory, the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) initiative, and cooperation opportunities in the fields of transport and artificial intelligence under the Charter on Strategic Partnership. In addition, the sides discussed possibilities for U.S. companies to participate in transport infrastructure projects implemented in Azerbaijan, as well as initiatives in artificial intelligence, data centers, and other priority areas.
