Kobakhidze Highlights Regional Connectivity Focus in South Caucasus

Antalya: ‘If healthy economic interests prevail over political interests, the role of diplomacy will be stronger all over the world. The South Caucasus is a very good example of this,’ said Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze during a panel discussion held within the framework of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, APA’s local bureau reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Kobakhidze noted that there had previously been many problems and specific conflicts in the region. He emphasized that the countries of the South Caucasus are now concentrating on diplomatic, pragmatic solutions and enhancing regional connectivity. This approach aims not only to maintain peace in the region but also to improve the welfare of the local populations.

Kobakhidze expressed his belief that this focus on connectivity and diplomacy serves as a constructive example for other nations. He urged that instead of burning bridges, countries should focus on building them, highlighting the importance of cooperation over conflict.
