Manama: As part of her visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, met with Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting underscored the strong relations between Bahrain and Azerbaijan, focusing on expanding collaboration across multiple sectors. The Crown Prince acknowledged Azerbaijan’s support in addressing global issues and commended the country for its organization of COP29. He expressed appreciation for Leyla Aliyeva’s MAMA “Mother Nature” international art project, recognizing it as a meaningful contribution to environmental efforts. Her initiatives in promoting environmental sustainability within Azerbaijan and on an international level were also praised.
The dialogue further explored future projects between Azerbaijan and Bahrain, including potential cooperation in upcoming EXPO fairs, notably EXPO 2025 in Japan. The discussions also highlighted the two countries’ successful hosting of Formula 1 events and the possibility of collaborating in automobile sports.
