Brent Crude Price Surges Over $8 in Global Markets

London: Oil prices continued to rise in global markets. On the London ICE (InterContinental Exchange Futures), the price of Brent crude increased by $8.07 to $126.1 per barrel, while the price of Light crude on the NYMEX (New York Mercantile Exchange) rose by $3.17 to $110.05 per barrel.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the recent surge in oil prices is reflective of ongoing trends in the global energy market. The increase in Brent crude prices marks a significant development, as it indicates a robust demand for oil amid fluctuating supply conditions. This trend is mirrored in the NYMEX where Light crude has also seen a notable rise, highlighting the broader dynamics at play in the energy sector.
