Baku: An international Youth Forum titled ‘Strengthening the Role of Youth in the Post-Colonial Era’ is scheduled to take place in Baku from April 30 to May 1, organized by the Baku Initiative Group (BIG), APA reports, citing BIG.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the forum will assemble young diplomats, experts, students, and representatives of public organizations from 17 countries. The discussions will concentrate on addressing the effects of colonialism and neocolonialism, developing international cooperation mechanisms, and enhancing youth solidarity.
The forum’s agenda will include topics such as the right to self-determination, acceleration of the decolonization process, socio-economic challenges, migration, restricted access to education, and the enduring impacts of colonialism.
