Baku: A roundtable on the improvement of technical regulations is being held in Baku, APA-Economics reports. The event is organized by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, SOCAR, and the Azerbaijan Industrial Safety Association.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, representatives from the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President of Azerbaijan, SOCAR, AZCON, BP, the Azerbaijan Industrial Safety Association, the Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of Azerbaijan, and the Azerbaijan Construction Producers Association are participating in the roundtable.
At the event, discussions will be held on documents such as the Rules for the safe operation of vessels working under pressure, the Rules for the operation and repair of technological pipelines operating under pressure, and guidelines on the operation, inspection and repair of spring safety valves. Other topics include the Regulation on planned preventive maintenance of equipment in the oil refining and petrochemical industry (Part 1), the Rules on the structure and technical safety of vessels operating under pressure in the oil, gas and petrochemical industry (2015), and the Rules on the structure and safe operation of steam and hot water pipelines.
Further discussions will focus on regulatory requirements for high-pressure vessels and pipelines, requirements for the maintenance and repair system of technological equipment at mineral fertilizer production enterprises, fire safety Rules in the oil, gas and petrochemical industry, the unified labor protection management system in the Azerbaijani oil industry, and the safety Rules for the operation of oil and gas processing plants.
