Baku: The Military Institute named after Heydar Aliyev of the National Defense University is currently hosting significant educational events under the NATO Defence Education Enhancement Programme (DEEP). These events include a ‘Teachers Development Training’ and a seminar on ‘English-Language Marine Communication’, as reported by the Ministry of Defence to APA.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the events involve the participation of teachers and officers from the National Defense University and its subordinate special educational institutions. They are part of the third phase of the ‘Assessment in Active Learning’ module. The primary aim is to enhance the pedagogical skills of participants, refine teaching methods, and further improve the quality of education to meet international standards.
These initiatives are designed to ensure that the educational practices within the National Defense University are aligned with global benchmarks. The events are set to continue until April 11, reflecting NATO’s ongoing commitment to fostering educational development in defense institutions.
