Baku: Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with European Union (EU) countries experienced a substantial rise of over 35% in the first four months of the year. In January through April, the trade volume between Azerbaijan and EU countries reached USD 7,189,623.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the data from the State Customs Committee indicates a 35.5% increase compared to the same period last year. During these four months, Azerbaijan exported goods valued at USD 6,234,280 to EU countries, marking a 38% increase from the previous year. Meanwhile, imports from EU countries to Azerbaijan amounted to USD 787,600, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 21.3%.
