Baku: On 20 January – National Mourning Day, Prime Minister Ali Asadov, Speaker of Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova, Head of the Presidential Administration Samir Nuriyev, along with other state and government officials, visited the Alley of Martyrs. They commemorated Azerbaijani heroes who gave their lives for the country’s freedom and laid flowers at their graves.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the visit marked a significant moment of remembrance for the sacrifices made by those who fought for Azerbaijan’s independence. The officials paid their respects by honoring the memory of the martyrs and emphasizing the importance of their contributions to the nation’s sovereignty and integrity.
