Baku: In January 2026, Azerbaijan’s state budget received more than 2 billion 50.3 million manats in taxes, marking a 6.5% year-on-year increase. The State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy reported that this intake exceeded the forecast by 50.3 million manats.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, revenues from the non-oil and gas sector reached over 1 billion 467.1 million manats, with an additional 42.1 million manats surpassing the forecast. Compared to the same period in 2025, tax revenues from the non-oil and gas sector rose by 88.9 million manats.
The distribution of taxes paid showed that 71.6% came from the non-oil and gas sector, while the oil and gas sector contributed 28.4%.
