Baku:Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, has expressed his condolences to Türkiye’s Minister of National Defense, Yasar Guler. This gesture follows the tragic death of a serviceman from Türkiye’s 7th Border Brigade Command, who was killed by gunfire in the Hakkari region during a border violation incident.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, Colonel General Hasanov conveyed his sorrow over the incident in a message. He stated, “I was deeply saddened by the news that a serviceman from the 7th Border Brigade Command, stationed in the Hakkari region, was killed by gunfire while responding to a border violation incident.”
The condolence message further expressed hope for divine mercy on the deceased serviceman. Colonel General Hasanov shared the grief of the serviceman’s family and loved ones, offering his deepest condolences and prayers for the departed soul.
