Baku: During the 11 months of this year, more than 1 ton 600 kg of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their psychoactive preparations have been removed from illegal circulation, said the Chairman of the State Customs Committee, Shahin Baghirov, at the event ‘Customs Business Forum 2025.’
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the State Customs Committee’s activities between 2022 and 2024 resulted in the removal of more than 1 ton 900 kg of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their psychoactive preparations from illegal circulation. In the first 11 months of the current year alone, over 1 ton 600 kg of these substances were seized.
