Azerbaijan’s CEC registers reps of several more parties for parliamentary election

BAKU: During the meeting, Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC) discussed the registration of authorized representatives from the Modern Musavat Party, Azerbaijan Democratic Enlightenment Party, and Musavat Party for the upcoming extraordinary parliamentary election, CEC Secretary Arifa Mukhtarova said, Trend reports.

The matter was put to a vote and adopted.

To note, on June 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree dissolving the sixth convocation of the Azerbaijani Parliament and scheduling a snap election for September 1.
